About the Role
An opportunity is currently available to join our Processing - Metallurgy team as a Laboratory Technician.
- This role offers a great opportunity to maintain a work life balance with FIFO 8:6 roster FIFO Prominent Hill.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, health, the community and the environment
- Perform analysis of samples in line with established procedures
- Data entry and reporting of results to relevant parties along with recommended corrective actions
- Perform equipment and instrument calibrations
- Review of established procedures and practices and suggest improvements
- Resolution of quality issues within shift
- Management of laboratory consumables stock and storage of samples
About You
You will be committed to making a positive difference in the health and safety of others, enjoy working outdoors independently and be comfortable undertaking a range of physically demanding activities during your day.
- Minimum ‘C’ Class Driver’s licence, high risk / forklift licence is desirable
- Experience working in a mining environment
- Experience working in a laboratory environment.
- An unwavering commitment to safety and this will be clearly demonstrated throughout your prior experience
Values driven, a positive attitude, energetic and well-developed interpersonal skills are essential
